I have been teaching bass guitar, double bass and music theory for over 7 years and helped a lot of students both young and old to achieve their musical goals. Whether you are starting from scratch, playing in gigging bands or studying music at school or college then lessons can help.

For all students I believe that a firm grounding in theory and technique are essential for ones’ playing and understanding of ones’ instrument and its function. Lessons are tailored to suit each student and their desired goals. During the lessons students can work on improvising, bass line construction, reading, timing, general musicianship as well as working from the 'Rock School' and 'Associated Board' syllabus.

I have a CRB certificate from my time teaching at

Calder High School.

My musical qualifications include a Diploma in Music, Grade 8 performance ABRSM and Grade 8 Theory of Music ABRSM.
